NBCA Technical Program

Although coaching (National Coaching Certification Program) courses will be scheduled annually, (see NBCA on line calendar for dates and locations) Should any NBCA Affiliated Club wish to host a clinic or course, please contact Rick Perron, Executive Director - Centre of Curling Excellence (CCE). ([email protected]) A minimum number of participants may be required.

Courses include:

Club Coach Youth:  1 day workshop for coaches that will coach beginning and youth curlers. 

Club Coach:  2 day workshop for coaches that will coach recreational curlers beyond the beginning stage but not competitively 

Competition Coach:  2.5 day workshop for coaches who will coach teams curling competitively. (Introductive Competitive Coaching Stream)

The Centre of Curling Excellence, (CCE) is the official training centre of the NBCA.   All CCE courses/clinics will appear of the CCE web site ( and registration for each will be handled through the NBCA On-Line Registration system with links also available on the CCE web site.

NBCA Mission: The NBCA is a non-profit organization designed to bring together all curling centres in the province for one purpose: to provide opportunities for all residents, of any age, to participate in the sport of curling throughout their lifetime for fun, fitness and/or competition.

NBCA Vision: The NBCA envisions to be a leading sports force within New Brunswick and throughout the Atlantic Provinces by providing growth, promotion and development opportunities to all curlers, regardless of age or physical ability, from the grassroots to the highest levels of competitive play.
